I wanted to first give an example of a start-up weekend that I have also previously run. I would like to highlight that if datasets are not given, here is a different way of engaging with the community to create a space to come up with social innovations. Start-up Weekends are also important in the eco-system, as they are community and student focused. They are for the “start-up entrepreneur” Here is an example of a previous successful start-up weekend that was run in 2015.
